This study used a true experimental research design with the type of posttest-only control design. This study's population was all class VII MTS Darul Ulum Bandung Diwek Jombang students. At the same time, the sample was 30 students for the experimental group and 30 students for the control group. This sample was obtained through a random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a mathematics learning achievement test sheet in the form of an essay with five questions. Data analysis techniques used in this study include the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing (t-test). Based on data analysis showed that the results of the t-test for two independent samples obtained a sig value of 0.036 for the experimental group and control group with an α value of 5%, so that sig ˂ α means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means there are differences in students' mathematics learning outcomes with and without using the snowball drilling type of cooperative learning model. Because there are differences in students' mathematics learning outcomes with and without using the snowball drilling type cooperative learning model, it can be concluded that the Snowball Drilling type cooperative learning model is effectively used in learning mathematics.
2023-11-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Prinsip Pendidikan Matematika https://jprinsip.ejournal.unri.ac.id/index.php/jpri/article/view/215 DEVELOPING DISCOVERY LEARNING-BASED STUDENT WORKSHEET ON THE EQUATION OF A STRAIGHT LINE MATERIAL 2023-12-29T12:22:04+00:00 Yessi Indha Saputri yessiindhaa0203@gmail.com Depriwana Rahmi depriwana.rahmi@uin-suska.ac.id Annisah Kurniati depriwana.rahmi@uin-suska.ac.id Suci Yuniati depriwana.rahmi@uin-suska.ac.id
This research aimed at developing and producing valid, practical, and effective Discovery learning-based student worksheets on Equation of a Straight Line material. Mathematics lessons need to be conveyed and introduced to students. Students in school can be used as a first step for teachers to improve their abilities and skills in logical, analytical, systematic, critical, and creative thinking. Mastery Learning is a learning approach that is guided by completeness. The concept of complete learning is a process to ensure that all learning at school is completely mastered. Observation results show that students still have difficulty solving why they have to scribble, why they have to borrow tens, and so on. This is where students need to be instilled with the basic concept of subtraction. Classroom action research was conducted at SD Ulil Albab Kepanjen with 14 students who discussed subtraction material. The techniques used for this research were observation methods and test methods. In the final test activities, the average percentage of student learning outcomes reached 65% because of the 14 students; 9 got scores below the KKM, namely 80. Meanwhile, in cycle 2, the final test results increased, reaching an average of 90%.
2023-12-19T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Prinsip Pendidikan Matematika https://jprinsip.ejournal.unri.ac.id/index.php/jpri/article/view/216 VALIDITY AND PRACTICALITY OF E-MODUL DEVELOPMENT USING PROFESSIONAL FLIP PDF-BASED GUIDED DISCOVERY TO FACILITATE MATHEMATICS PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS 2024-01-12T21:08:28+00:00 Uyun Mughniyatul Ilmi irma.fitri@uin-suska.ac.id Irma Fitri irma.fitri@uin-suska.ac.id Erdawati Nurdin irma.fitri@uin-suska.ac.id
This research aimed to develop and produce a product as a Guided Discovery-based E-Module with Flip PDF Professional to facilitate students' mathematical problem-solving ability at Junior High School/Islamic Junior High School meeting valid and practical criteria.
