VALIDITY AND PRACTICALITY OF E-MODUL DEVELOPMENT USING PROFESSIONAL FLIP PDF-BASED GUIDED DISCOVERY TO FACILITATE MATHEMATICS PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

This research aimed to develop and produce a product as a Guided Discovery-based E-Module with Flip PDF Professional to facilitate students' mathematical problem-solving ability at Junior High School/Islamic Junior High School meeting valid and practical criteria. Research and Development with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. This research was conducted at the Junior High School of YKPP Dumai in the Academic Year of 2022/2023. The subjects of this research were the seventh-grade students at the Junior High School of YKPP Dumai, and the object was a Guided Discovery-based E-Module with Flip PDF Professional. The technique of collecting data was a questionnaire; they were a validity questionnaire and a practicality questionnaire. The data of this research were quantitative and qualitative. The research findings showed that Guided Discovery-based E-Module with Flip PDF Professional was stated as very valid with a validity level of 86,47%. Based on the practicality test, Guided Discovery based E-Module with Flip PDF Professional was stated as very practical with a practicality level of 86,42%.
