DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT WORKSHEETS BASED ON ETHNOMATHEMATICS WITH THE CONTEXT OF LUBUKLINGGAU REGIONAL LANGUAGE IN STATISTICAL MATERIAL

Abstrak

This study aims to develop Student Worksheets based on ethnomathematics in statistical material that are valid, beneficial, and highly potential within the context of the Lubuklinggau regional language. The study employed the ADDIE development framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) as its methodological approach. The research subjects included eighth-grade students, mathematics teachers, and validators consisting of language experts, media experts, and material experts. Data collection methods included questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results revealed that the developed worksheets was highly valid, with a language validity score of 0.87, media validity score of 0.85, and material validity score of 0.85. Additionally, the practicality of the worksheets received positive feedback, with 92% rated as highly practical by teachers and 83% by small student groups. The product's effectiveness was evident from its impact on students' learning outcomes, with 77.41% of students achieving the "competent" category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the ethnomathematics-based worksheets within the context of the Lubuklinggau regional language possesses high validity, excellent practicality, and significant positive impacts on the learning process. Therefore, this worksheets can be effectively utilized to support the teaching of statistical concepts in a contextual and meaningful manner.
