Abstrak

The fundamental issue addressed in this research is the low interest in learning mathematics among students. The objective of this study is to develop interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline 3 for the topics of congruence and similarity, which can facilitate students' interest in learning. The development of the media follows the 4D development model. The media testing subjects involved students from SMPN 35 Pekanbaru, with 6 students participating in a small group test and 32 students in a large group test. The data for this developmental research were collected through interviews and questionnaires, utilizing validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and learning interest questionnaires as instruments. The findings indicate an average validity score of 3.58, categorized as very valid. Meanwhile, the small group test results show that the practicality of the media was rated as very practical, with an average score of 0.96, and an average learning interest score of 76.04%, categorized as very high. Similarly, the field test results also rated the practicality of the media as very practical, with an average score of 0.96, and an average learning interest percentage of 76.24%, categorized as very high. This learning media has proven to have a significant impact on enhancing students' interest and engagement in learning, and it has been validated as highly practical and effective in supporting interactive and effective learning processes.
